ETH/USDT Fair Value Gap detector

Ether usually does not invent the move. A 4h displacement on BTC/USDT often shows up on ETH/USDT as a slightly later, slightly cleaner FVG — more body, fewer fake wicks — because ETH liquidity is deep but still a beta on Bitcoin. The exception is ETH-native news: a protocol or ETF headline that gaps Ether while BTC barely prints.

Read ETH against BTC, not in a vacuum

If Bitcoin just left a bearish 4h gap above spot and ETH prints a bullish 15m FVG into that, you are fading the index. The useful ETH maps are: (1) ETH 1h/4h gaps that agree with BTC’s open imbalance, and (2) ETH 15m BPR that forms after BTC has already displaced, as a continuation entry framework. Open BTC 4h in one tab, ETH 1h here.

ETH/BTC itself is a different chart (not this perpetual). When ETH/BTC is dumping, ETH/USDT FVG fills faster on rallies. That is not in the detector — it is why you still look left on a relative chart.

Same Binance USDT-M feed and the same three-candle + 50-bar overlap rules as every other pair. No ETH-specific filter. Weekend thin books can print 5m gaps that look institutional and die on Sunday night — drop to 1h before you treat them as BPR structure.

Not financial advice. ETH can trend through its own gaps while BTC is quiet.
